MiloJargon Salsa

My husband and I both play World of Warcraft. One of our guild mates, Milojargon (aka Chandalar) gave us a recipe for salsa that is simple to make and tastes absolutely delicious. Because we both like chips and salsa, I decided to give it a try.
MiloJargon Salsa
2 Cans Del Monte Original Stewed tomatoes – drained. Don’t get the mexican flavored, etc. Original is best.
1 Cup Fresh Cilantro – I pull the leaves off and measure roughly. its not overpowering at all. people that don’t like Cilantro like my salsa.
1-2 Jalapeño peppers. I use the slices and about 3 heaping forkfuls.
1 tsp Cumin
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp chopped garlicPut in a blender, serve with chips.
The longer it sits, the hotter it gets.
I usually don’t put in as much cilantro as the recipe calls for. The entire recipe is definitely customizable to your own tastes. Add more garlic/jalepeños if you prefer. I’ve also done this without draining the tomatoes. It makes a looser salsa which is nice for the ultra-thin tortilla chips.
I’m gonna cook some of this for this weekend! Been meaning to for years.
